Student Digital Leaders

The Digital Leaders are a group of students from Years 7 to 11 who have received full training in online safety. They:

  • Conduct regular assemblies to raise awareness about e-safety.
  • Visit local primary schools to educate younger students about staying safe online.
  • Hold regular drop-in sessions for students to seek advice or one-to-one support from their peers.

The Digital Leaders are overseen by Miss McDowell, who is both a Safer Schools Ambassador and the E-safety Coordinator for Mayflower.

The goal of the Digital Leaders programme is to educate and empower students to make safe and informed decisions online. If students need help, the Digital Leaders are available to provide guidance and support.
